I have items to send to Pacific Color. What are my options?
Pacific Color supplies UPS Return Service Labels at no charge for items to be sent to our lab. All items should be packaged securely and can be given to a UPS driver or taken to a UPS Store. Please make a note of the Tracking Number for your records.
What kind of packaging should I use?
We recommend using new corrugated boxes, recycled PCI boxes that are in good condition, Tyvek or padded envelopes to protect your merchandise. We highly discourage using paper document envelopes for items such as film rolls or bulky items.
My Shipping costs are really high. How can I save money?
To save on Shipping costs, we recommend consolidating your small orders, or choosing selected shipping days using our Scheduled Shipping Day service. We will prepare, hold, and then dispatch all your available orders only on the day(s) you choose.

I want to have certain S.O.S. orders ship together. What do I do?
Having certain orders ship together is a great way to save money on Shipping costs. It is very important to make a note on every S.O.S. order you wish to have ship together.

I need an order to ship today. What do I do?
The Shipping Department strives to meet all Customer requests. Please be advised that the Department works on a very tight schedule, and the Shipping cut-off time is 12:30p.m. Pacific Time. We cannot firmly guarantee any request made after this time.

My Scheduled Shipping Day falls on a Holiday. What happens then?
It is the Shipping Department policy to dispatch any order(s) a customer has available the last business day prior to OR the first business day after a Holiday. This way your delivery schedule will not be impacted by a closure.
What is the Oversize Charge?
The Oversize charge is a Handling fee charged for mounted items ordered that exceed 24”( inches ). This fee covers the added costs of materials and time required to prepare these items for delivery. ( Our 5 x 30 and 6 x 30 products are not included ). All O/S packages are dispatched via UPS, and are charged a Dimensional Weight of 44 pounds, which is separate of the Oversize Charge.
Currently, the O/S Charge is $22.50.
I received a damaged box. What do I do?
If you receive a shipment from Pacific Color which has obvious damage, tell your delivery driver to make a note of this before you sign for the package. This will start the Claims Process. Please contact our Customer Service Department for further assistance and instructions.
Am I billed Shipping Charges for every package I receive?
No. Our Customers are billed based on the orders that are contained in the box, not by a Shipping Label being generated. For example, if your box contains only remake orders, you will not be charged for that shipment.
At Pacific Color, the accurate billing of Shipping Charges is a top priority. A manifest is generated daily and reviewed against that day’s Work Sheets for any errors. Any billing adjustments are made prior to the Monthly Shipping Invoices being generated.
